South Florida's Inaugural Love, Laughter & Gratitude Festival is a community event on Saturday, February 20, 2010. The historic congregation of Cason United Methodist Church has donated the use of their facilities at 342 N. Swinton Avenue for the event.
Festivities kick-off with live music, "mocktails" and light refreshments at the VIP pre-party. In the sanctuary/auditorium, positive psychology expert, author and speaker, David J. Pollay will present, featuring his international phenomenon, The Law of the Garbage Truck. Nationally known "clean" comedian, Tim Hawkins headlines with a performance guaranteed to have South Florida laughing long after the show is over.
In addition, the first annual Good Samaritan Award will be presented to a local resident making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
100% of event proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County, Boca Helping Hands and Cason United Methodist Church Outreach Ministries.
